TRADE ASSOCIATION SELECTS FERNLEY & FERNLEY AS NEW HEADQUARTERS

August 2010 (Philadelphia) - The International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association (IKECA) has chosen Fernley & Fernley, Inc. to be its new Association Management Company (AMC). Based in Philadelphia, Fernley & Fernley has been a leader in the non-profit management industry for well over a century.
Founded in 1989, IKECA members promote proper and complete exhaust cleaning practices resulting in a significant contribution to the decrease in commercial kitchen fires. IKECA members provide kitchen exhaust cleaning services to a wide variety of customers including restaurants, universities, prisons, cruise ships, submarines, casinos, and even the White House. IKECA is committed to serve and represent the interests of the commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning industry by promoting the highest cleaning and ethical standards. IKECA offers continuing education as well as several certification programs to educate and train members and their service technicians.
Seasoned Fernley & Fernley associate, Kenneth R. Hutton will serve as Executive Director for IKECA. His extensive background in the successful management of trade associations will allow him to provide strong leadership in this new role. Gina Marinilli will be Associate Director, interacting with members on a daily basis and working closely with the committee responsible for developing three new American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standards on behalf of IKECA. Tawnee Shuey, CMP, will be IKECA's Meeting Manager, responsible for the successful planning and execution of two annual events including IKECA Connections, the association's popular technical seminar scheduled for November 3-6, 2010 in Reston, VA.
