Premier Meeting Solutions Announces New Vice President

PHILADELPHIA, November 2008 – Philadelphia based Premier Meeting Solutions, announced that Lindsay Groff has been named Vice President. Groff has responsibility for the full scope of the company's activities in the area of hotel site selection, contract negotiations and client and hotel relationship management. Under her direction, she will help the firm find new models that will support and enhance the company's growth.
"Ms. Groff's wide-ranging experience in marketing, strategy and client retention is a valuable new addition to our team," said Premier Meeting Solutions President Taylor Fernley. "The depth and scope of experience and expertise at Premier Meeting Solutions allows us to serve clients who are planning regional, national and international professional or medical conferences, trade shows, incentive and recognition meetings or educational conferences. Our clients and partners will find Ms. Groff to be both knowledgeable and strategic in her methods."
Lindsay Groff joins Premier Meeting Solutions from Fernley & Fernley, an affiliate company in the association management business, representing over 30 trade associations and professional societies. She will continue to serve as Executive Director for both the American Medical Women's Association and the Society for Social Work Leadership in Healthcare. Ms. Groff joined Fernley & Fernley in 2004 as a Senior Meeting Manager to lead several high-profile association meetings. Previously, she worked in member relations at the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Early in her career, Ms. Groff held numerous positions in marketing.
"Renewing and extending excellent relationships with our hotel partners remains a top priority for me in this new position," said Ms. Groff. "Combining the clients' needs with an in-depth knowledge of the factors that motivate hotels during contract negotiations will result in a win-win situation for all."
Ms. Groff holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Rutgers University and a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Rowan University. She is a director on the Board of the Greater Philadelphia Recycling Council and an active volunteer for the Greater Philadelphia Cares organization.
