Fernley & Fernley Hires New Executive Director

PHILADELPHIA – Margo Mucha McDonnell, CES® is the newest member of the Fernley & Fernley Team. Ms. McDonnell will manage daily operations for two of the firm’s clients, the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA), and the Association Management Company Institute (AMCI).
Prior to this, Ms. McDonnell held the position of President & COO of 1031 CORP, a subsidiary of The First American Corporation for 14 years. During this time she was an active member of the FEA Board of Directors where she spearheaded the Certified Exchange Specialist Program, a national certification and continuing education program recognized throughout the industry.
Ms. Mc Donnell’s in-depth knowledge of the industry represented by the FEA will make her an immediate asset as their new Executive Director. Over the summer, Ms. McDonnell will be trained to assume the role of Executive Vice President for the AMCI, following the retirement of their current EVP, slated for September.
Ms. McDonnell is a Pennsylvania native and resides in Schwenksville, PA with her husband and three children. She is looking forward to becoming active in national and local chapters of associations that represent non-profit management professionals including ASAE and DVSAE.
