PHILADELPHIA, PA –Fernley & Fernley, Inc. has recently passed the accreditation renewal process required to maintain their charter accreditation designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Association Management Company (AMC) Accreditation Commission.
Fernley & Fernley, Inc. underwent the initial accreditation application process in 2001 when the program was first developed. The firm was one of the first association management companies to achieve charter accreditation status and has successfully retained the distinguished title ever since.
ASAE's Association Management Company Accreditation program was designed to elevate professional standards and designate firms that demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of association management. The ASAE AMC Accreditation program assists the association community by identifying the standards and criteria that are indicative of quality management service providers.
“We have found that the accreditation designation has been used by volunteer leaders as a prequalifier in their search for an association management company,” commented Taylor Fernley, President & CEO. “Accredited AMCs have already undergone an extensive review process, practically eliminating the need for a search committee to dedicate time to the effort.”
