FERNLEY & FERNLEY, INC. OFFERS UNIQUE SUCCESSION PLAN FOR SOCIETY

Philadelphia - Fernley & Fernley, Inc., a Philadelphia firm specializing in managing non-profit organizations, has entered into a long-term management agreement with the Society for Clinical Trials (SCT). A 3-year transition plan has been developed after which Fernley & Fernley, Inc. will serve as SCT Headquarters, providing full-service professional management for the society.
The Leadership of this 25 year old non-profit organization needed a flexible management solution that would provide a succession plan benefiting the association. Fernley & Fernley, Inc. was able to offer an extended transition plan that would allow services to be gradually outsourced from the SCT’s standalone office staff to the established association management company.
Society President Eleanor McFadden noted that “the Society was excited about working with Fernley & Fernley and that the Board of Directors of the Society agreed that the flexible association management company model that Fernley & Fernley, Inc. was able to offer would provide the best long-term solution for the society.”
A Fernley & Fernley, Inc. account manager participated in the annual conference held earlier this year in Montreal and is working closely with volunteer leaders and the current executive director to develop and launch a value-focused membership recruitment campaign.
