Fernley President Named to Board of National Trade Association
September, 2006, Philadelphia, PA - Fernley & Fernley, Inc. the nation's first association management company (AMC), is pleased to announce the appointment of President & CEO G.A. Taylor Fernley to the Board of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW). NAW is a 40,000 member strong trade association representing the Wholesale Distribution Industry, based in Washington, D.C.
NAW is active in the areas of government relations and political action; research and education; and group purchasing. Over 100 national organizations representing virtually all products that move to market through wholesaler-distributors are members of this association. Serving on the Board of NAW is a natural fit for Mr. Fernley given that his company has a long history of managing trade associations in distribution and manufacturing industries.
