FERNLEY & FERNLEY AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLUS FORM JOINT VENTURE TO SERVICE EXPANDING HEALTHCARE ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT MARKETPLACE
March 29, 2005 , Philadelphia, PA - Fernley & Fernley (Fernley), the nation's leading Association Management Company (AMC), today announced it had formed a joint venture with Resource Management Plus (RMP), a Philadelphia-based AMC specializing in providing services to healthcare associations and non-profits.
This newly created joint venture will combine the technology and business process expertise of Fernley - leveraging its infrastructure including staff and technology- with the healthcare expertise of RMP. This combination uniquely positions Fernley to enter into the largest growing segment of Association Management - the healthcare segment, and enables RMP to enhance services to its existing clients with access to greater resources.
"This is the first joint venture of its kind for Fernley and we view it as a key component of our strategic growth initiative.," stated Taylor Fernley, President and CEO of Fernley and Fernley. In May of this year, RMP will relocate is operations to Fernley's office space and for at least one year, each organization will maintain its own identity with the goal that towards the end of 2006, RMP will be fully integrated into Fernley & Fernley.
