Trish Keppler and Tawnee Shuey, CMPs

Fernley & Fernley would like to congratulate Trish Keppler, CMP and Tawnee Shuey, CMP for earning their Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designations. The CMP designation, established in 1985, was designed to increase the professionalism of meeting managers in all sectors of the industry; recognize and raise industry standards; and increase the value of these practitioners to their employees and individuals to whom their services are provided.

CMP accreditation involves a two-part process consisting of an application and a written examination administered by an independent testing agency. Candidates for the CMP are required to have at least three years of meeting planning experience.

Trish serves as Team Lead for the Meeting Planning Department at Fernley & Fernley. She began her career here in 2005 as a Meeting Manager for several healthcare clients. As Team Lead she is responsible for managing daily departmental operations including training, supervising and mentoring three meeting managers in addition to her meeting planning responsibilities for several high profile Fernley clients.

Tawnee has been with Fernley & Fernley for three years and is responsible for planning and executing annual conferences for both trade association and professional society clients. She came to Fernley & Fernley with over ten years of meeting planning experience in the hospitality and meeting industries, including eight years in association and non-profit meeting management.

This achievement demonstrates the firm's commitment to upholding one of its core values, "Thought Leadership." Fernley & Fernley encourages and supports its associates as they grow their own knowledge which benefits them individually and professionally and also benefits our clients.
