Fernley Associates Share the Holiday Spirit
In recognition of Fernley & Fernley's 125th Anniversary, we adopted a Philadelphia based non-profit organization. The "Self-Help and Resource Exchange" (SHARE) is a nonprofit organization serving a regional network of community organizations engaged in food distribution, education, and advocacy. SHARE promotes healthy living by providing affordable wholesome food to those willing to contribute through volunteerism. During 2011 many of our associates volunteered their vast talents to help SHARE advance their mission by serving on the Board, facilitating a strategic planning session, and assisting with marketing and communications initiatives.
Additionally, several times a year, F&F associates coordinate a group activity whereby they work in the SHARE food distribution warehouse packing food boxes that will be delivered to individuals and community organizations throughout our region.
One of F&F's Core Values is that of "Social Responsibility" and our partnership with SHARE provides our associates with a great opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the community we live and work in.
